In 2025, TxAPT underwent a comprehensive organizational restructuring, resulting in the official reopening of all chapters. Each chapter now operates as a committee under the TxAPT Board. This restructuring was implemented to better align all organizational components, from the APT level downward, with the overall goals and mission of TxAPT. Additionally, it ensures that all parts of the organization consistently comply with applicable federal laws and regulations.

TxAPT has six different home chapters: Central Hill Country Chapter, Greater Houston Chapter, North Texas Chapter, Greater San Antonio Chapter, South Texas Chapter, and West Texas Chapter.
