The board meets in person twice a year- once in August/September and once at the annual conference. There is another board meeting online in January.

The board needs your unique interests and abilities to help make our organization run smoothly.

The board has nine positions. The turn over for each position is staggered so that there will never be a brand new board at one time. This helps board members to help on board and assist new board members with any questions. With this being said, the open positions depend on which position has a vacancy.

Except for the vice president and president positions, every positions runs in three year terms.

Being on the board is a voluntary. No one on the board is paid. Board members volunteer their time and knowledge to TxAPT.
