My name is Sloane Sivek and I am the Finance Representative for the North Texas Chapter. I am a 2nd year doctoral student at the University of North Texas studying play therapy! I have been practicing play therapy for the past 4 years starting with learning about it in my masters program. I found a deep passion for play therapy and am so lucky to have it as a career! As an Arizona native I love to be outdoors and spend time in the sun. When I'm not head in the books, I love to hang out with friends, travel, and bake.

My name is Sonja Mugnier, MS, LPC-Associate, NCC. I recently graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Masters of Science in Counseling with a concentration in child and adolescent counseling. I am currently working as a counselor and play therapist at The Institute for Healing in Addison, TX. I am interested in helping the North Texas APT chapter bridge the gap between students and new graduates and registered play therapists. My goal as a university liaison is to connect with local counseling programs, identify areas where new professionals need support in, and work with the play therapy community to support developing play therapists in these areas. I look forward to working with the North Texas Chapter of TxAPT and contributing to this amazing profession!
